Roller skates, also called quads, are the four-wheeled footwear worn in indoor artistic skating and outdoor speeding skating. Each skate is composed of a boot, a frame, and two wheels in front and two wheels. Roller skates are made with ball bearings for reducing friction and increasing speed with little effort, and toe stops for immediate braking. They also have durable ankle supports for making turns and maneuvering safely.
