Lacrosse heads hold the net pockets in lacrosse sticks. They are usually made of wood, metal, or plastic, with holes along the sides for stringing net or shelf onto the frame. They have slightly rounded tops and tapered bottoms, which attach to the lacrosse shat to form the stick. Two or more panels run across the frame to serve as supports for the net when holding the lacrosse ball. Some lacrosse heads come already strung with nets, while some are sold as bare frames.
